[Partially Lost] The full soundtrack to the 2017 mobile narrative game Father and Son (FAS) - composed by Arkadiusz Reikowski.
The game, developed by TuoMuseo for the MANN Napoli Museum, is currently unpurchasable and inaccessible due to a completely abandoned distribution infrastructure. While the game's beautiful 'Main Theme' remains streamable on the composer's SoundCloud, the remaining atmospheric tracks (such as the Egypt and Pompeii level themes) are entirely trapped behind a broken payment portal. The developer collective has gone completely dark, and the Android APK files do not contain raw audio assets, meaning the music is likely encrypted or hard-coded into the game engine. I am looking for someone who downloaded the original files back when the storefront worked and can share a backup of the full album.View original thread
How I found it
It looked encrypted: an APK with no audio files anywhere. But Father and Son is a Unity game, and Unity packs its audio into an FSB5/FMOD container instead of loose files. The soundtrack was sitting in sharedassets0.resource as plain Vorbis the whole time. I pulled all 11 score tracks out with UnityPy. Full writeup on the blog.
These are the in-game tracks pulled from the APK, so they're lossy Vorbis (a faithful copy of what ships in the game), not the composer's lossless masters, which aren't in any APK.
