[partially lost] Jasper Mitchell's missing songs - "Embrace" and "Frontier" from the album "Her" September 20, 2019
I'm trying to find 2 songs nowhere to be available anywhere else except for the Korean music app FLO. the songs are called "Frontier" and "Embrace", which they're from an album called "Her" by Jasper Mitchell. A couple years later, his discography disappeared across all streaming platforms, with no websites archiving his discography and the artist losing access to his account to keep his songs up.View original thread
How I found it
Jasper Mitchell's catalog disappeared from streaming after he lost access to his account, and two of these tracks, Frontier and Embrace, only survived as one-minute previews on FLO, a Korean app that's region-locked to Korean accounts. FLO's API was locked down tight, so I checked other Korean services and found the album on NAVER VIBE. VIBE also caps you at previews unless you subscribe, so I spent a few days reverse-engineering its API and wrote a script that pulls the full audio at up to 320kbps. That recovered the whole album, the two missing songs included.
Also seeding the full album on Soulseek under the alias BonusArticle. Jasper Mitchell has since rebranded as albatraussmusic.
